01Overview
We want you to subscribe to Recall only if it earns a place in your day. This policy explains when you can get a refund and how to ask for one.
Payments and refunds for Recall are processed by Paddle.com (“Paddle”), our Merchant of Record. When we approve a refund, Paddle returns the money to your original payment method. Paddle’s own Refund Policy also applies to your purchase.
02Try before you pay
Recall has two paid plans, Monthly and Annual, and both include a 7-day free trial. During the trial you are not charged, and you can cancel any time before it ends to avoid any payment. You are billed only once the trial finishes. Plans and prices are on our pricing page.
037-day money-back guarantee
If your trial has ended, you have been charged, and you change your mind, you can request a full refund within 7 days of that charge, for any reason. You do not need to justify it.
This sits alongside any stronger statutory right you have. Consumers in the EU, the UK, and other regions may have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within a set period, and nothing in this policy takes that away.
04How to request a refund
There are two easy ways to ask:
- Through Paddle. Use the link on the email receipt you received when you paid, which lets you contact Paddle’s billing support directly.
- Through us. Email hello@joinrecall.com from the address you used to buy, and tell us you would like a refund. We will arrange it with Paddle.
Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method. The time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider, and is usually a few business days.
05Renewals and cancellations
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your Paddle receipt, or by writing to us. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If a renewal charge takes you by surprise, contact us within 7 days of that charge and we will make it right under the guarantee above.
06Annual plans
Annual plans start with the same 7-day free trial and are covered by the same 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of the charge. After that window, an annual plan runs for the full term you paid for. If you cancel partway through, you keep access until the term ends and it does not renew. Where the law gives you a further right to a refund, we honor it.
07If something is wrong
If Recall is faulty, not as described, or you were charged in error, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of the 7-day window, including a refund where appropriate. Tell us what happened at hello@joinrecall.com and we will sort it out.
08Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us or Paddle first. We can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute, and often on the same day. Opening a chargeback before reaching out may lead to your access being suspended while the dispute is investigated.
