# Recall Refund Policy > Source: https://www.joinrecall.com/refunds > When you can get a refund for Recall, how to ask for one, and how trials, renewals, and cancellations work. Short version: both billing options come with a 30-day free trial, so you decide before you pay a cent. If you are charged and change your mind, you have a 7-day money-back guarantee. Here are the details. Last updated: 23 September 2026 Contact: hello@joinrecall.com ## Overview We want you to subscribe to Recall only if it earns a place in your day. This policy explains when you can get a refund and how to ask for one. Payments and refunds for Recall are processed by Paddle.com ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. When we approve a refund, Paddle returns the money to your original payment method. Paddle's own Refund Policy also applies to your purchase. ## Try before you pay Recall is sold as one paid subscription with two billing options, monthly and annual, and both include a 30-day free trial. During the trial you are not charged, and you can cancel any time before it ends to avoid any payment. You are billed only once the trial finishes. Plans and prices are on our pricing page. ## 7-day money-back guarantee If your trial has ended, you have been charged, and you change your mind, you can request a full refund within 7 days of that charge, for any reason. You do not need to justify it. This sits alongside any stronger statutory right you have. Consumers in the EU, the UK, and other regions may have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within a set period, and nothing in this policy takes that away. ## How to request a refund There are two easy ways to ask: - **Through Paddle.** Use the link on the email receipt you received when you paid, which lets you contact Paddle's billing support directly. - **Through us.** Email hello@joinrecall.com from the address you used to buy, and tell us you would like a refund. We will arrange it with Paddle. Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method. The time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider, and is usually a few business days. ## Renewals and cancellations Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your Paddle receipt, or by writing to us. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. If a renewal charge takes you by surprise, contact us within 7 days of that charge and we will make it right under the guarantee above. ## Annual plans Annual billing starts with the same 30-day free trial and is covered by the same 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of the charge. After that window, an annual plan runs for the full term you paid for. If you cancel partway through, you keep access until the term ends and it does not renew. Where the law gives you a further right to a refund, we honor it. ## If something is wrong If Recall is faulty, not as described, or you were charged in error, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of the 7-day window, including a refund where appropriate. Tell us what happened at hello@joinrecall.com and we will sort it out. ## Chargebacks If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us or Paddle first. We can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute, and often on the same day. Opening a chargeback before reaching out may lead to your access being suspended while the dispute is investigated. ## Contact For anything about a payment or refund, email hello@joinrecall.com, or use the contact details on your Paddle receipt. We read every message. ## Links - Refund Policy: https://www.joinrecall.com/refunds - Pricing: https://www.joinrecall.com/pricing - Terms of Service: https://www.joinrecall.com/terms - Privacy Policy: https://www.joinrecall.com/privacy-policy - Paddle Refund Policy: https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy
